Statewide or local?
Buy local when you can only serve certain areas, like a photographer covering the East Valley. Buy statewide for software, training or remote services, or when you'd pick more than a few counties anyway.
Compare totals on the pricing page. If several local areas cost close to statewide, statewide gives more coverage for the same spend.
Checking a sample
- Count the rows that have the fields you need, not just whether the column exists.
- Look up five agents on their brokerage websites.
- Run the addresses through your own email verification tool.
- Check how many sample agents are already in your CRM.
Getting the CSV into your CRM
- Open as UTF-8 so accented names import correctly.
- Set ZIP and license columns to text so leading zeros and letters survive.
- Split
agent_name if your CRM needs first and last names. - Import a 20-row test first and check every mapped field.
- Tag the import with source and date.
It's a standard spreadsheet export. There's no live connection to any CRM.
Avoiding duplicates
Match on email first, then on license number where both records have one. Agents who changed brokerages may already be in your CRM under an old email; name plus license number finds most of them.
License records vs contact data
A license record says someone is licensed; it may not have a working email. A contact record has an email that passed a check, but that doesn't prove the license is active. Our file combines both, and each column says what it's based on.
Writing outreach agents read
- Name the city or county in your first sentence.
- Say what you offer and what it costs the agent, in two sentences.
- Ask for one small thing, like a 10-minute call.
- Send in small batches, watch bounces and complaints, and honor every opt-out.
Responsible use and CAN-SPAM
Business-to-business commercial email in the U.S. is covered by the CAN-SPAM Act: accurate sender and subject lines, your physical postal address, a clear opt-out, and opt-outs honored promptly.
Buying a list doesn't mean the people on it agreed to receive your email, and it doesn't make every campaign lawful. Calls and texts have stricter rules than email.
Many email platforms limit or prohibit sending to purchased lists. Check your provider's terms first.
